Terms of Service

Welcome to Canistic Dog Training. By enrolling in our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Offered

Canistic Dog Training provides private dog training sessions, behavioral consultations, and educational resources. All services are grounded in a holistic, science-based approach focused on meeting canine needs and empowering guardians.

2. Health and Safety

Clients must disclose any history of aggression, bites, or behavioral concerns. Potentially dangerous dogs must be muzzle-trained before an in-person consultation.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund or to postpone to another date.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the session.

  • Refunds are not issued for completed services.

4. Liability

Canistic Dog Training is not liable for injuries or damages caused by dogs during or outside of training sessions. Clients are responsible for supervising their dogs and following safety instructions.

5. Code of Conduct

Clients must treat Canistic Dog Training, other clients, and dogs with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in abusive, unsafe, or discriminatory behavior.

6. Media & Documentation

Training footage may be recorded for:

  • Progress tracking

  • Take-home notes

  • Educational and promotional purposes

Clients must inform us in advance if they do not consent to the use of media featuring their dog or themselves.

7. Intellectual Property

All training materials, videos, and resources are the property of Canistic Dog Training and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

8. Privacy Policy

Client information is kept confidential and used solely for service delivery and communication. We comply with applicable privacy laws in Quebec.

9. Language of Service

All communications, contracts, and documents are available in French or English. Our website and social media are also bilingual.

10. Modifications

Canistic Dog Training reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
