Helping dogs and their humans thrive together through a whole-dog approach to training and behaviour.
Navigating the dog training world can be overwhelming
The dog world is full of conflicting advice.
One side insists that love and avoidance are enough—keep your dog away from stress, even if that means a lifetime of closed curtains, quiet walks, and no visitors.
The other side leans heavily on obedience, corrections, and control. It’s all about stopping unwanted behaviours without asking why they’re happening. This approach may seem practical, but it often leads to fallout and doesn’t hold up long-term.
But there’s a third way.
A growing number of trainers are embracing a true middle ground—one that looks at the whole picture: your dog, your life, your goals. We believe in real-world solutions rooted in compassion, science, and understanding.
I’m proud to be part of this movement and while I’m not affiliated with UK-based dog behaviorist Jessica Probst (CFBA) or Honest Hounds, I have learned from them and deeply respect their work and draw inspiration from their methods and philosophy. Their progressive, science-informed approach has shaped the way I work with dogs and their humans.
